Nora Stephens is not the heroine of a romance novel. She is always the blonde, city-loving woman who is left behind when the leading man moves to the country to live out his Hallmark movie fantasy. Or at least that's what she believes until she and her publishing industry rival, Charlie Lestra, happen to meet up in the small town of Sunshine Falls, North Caroline.
A perfect beach read book about books, romance, and learning to accept yourself.

Stephen Graham Jones latest masterpiece is a brilliant blend of meta horror and speculative fiction. In this tale, liminal protagonist Jade Daniels escapes the cruelty of real world abuse and bullying through an unorthodox coping mechanism: Horror Movies. When blood starts to actually pour in her local community, Jade alone can correctly predict the outcome of the plot. Jones once again brings the grim face of realism to a fantastical account of revenge and triumph. READ THIS BOOK!
